Raise your Voice – The Relation of Loudness in Literary Proseand Women’s Emancipation supervised by Prof. Dr. Evelyn Gius

As a computational literary studies scholar, her PhD project focuses on the operationalization and analysis of noise and loudness as narratological phenomena in German-language literary prose of the 19th and early 20th century. Her research interests include the application and development of methods for critical-reflective text analysis in the research field of Digital Humanities.

In addition to her PhD project, she has worked in joint (interdisciplinary) projects on the annotation and automatic recognition of scenes and narrative levels in literary prose, the annotation of gender categories, the creation of literary text corpora, systematic text annotation with CATMA, and sentiment analysis.
